Outcome Mapping Description

Outcome Mapping differs from approaches that aim to logically connect a flow of inputs, activities, to outputs, and outcomes and attribute change to one’s intervention. Rather, the goal is to identify which stakeholders contribute to shifting behaviors, actions, activities, beliefs, policies, etc—focusing on contribution, rather than attribution, to change. This approach provides an interesting solution to the attribution-contribution challenge, which is particularly relevant and useful for complex work such as women’s rights efforts.
